TechCrunch UK is obviously not a translated blog like TechCrunch France and TechCrunch Japan (although both of these blogs have lots of original content as well). Instead, TechCrunch UK is all about UK based and/or focused startups. Many of these startups are written about on TechCrunch, but quite a few either are too early or aren’t necessarily of interest to the main TechCrunch audience. TechCrunch UK is a place to read about these companies, and I look forward to many of them also eventually being profiled here at the main TechCrunch site.

The blog is being written by Sam Sethi, a London based entrepreneur. You can read more about Sam on the TechCrunch UK About page, here, or on his personal blog. I first met Sam back in May at a TechCrunch event we held in London. We immediately hit it off and have been conspiring to launch this blog ever since. I am honored to have someone of Sam’s caliber write for our network, and I look forward to his posts.
