i really, really, really need this audio system.
ever since I had my ears blown off saving an old lady who was crossing the street who also got hit by a car but i took her spot instead and the car managed to rip both pinnae off my cranium resulting in bilateral conductive hearing loss.

it would be great to have because at the moment my music options in my home are my crappy ipod headphones, my crappy iMac built-in speakers, a pair of giveaway portable “speakers” that plug into a headphone jack or an old dual iPod dock/clock/radio combo currently in my kitchen… I could really use a better, digital stereo system…

Why I need the Sonos?
Because I love making/listening to music.
Because I work for charity & don’t even get a salary. So high-end gadgets just aren’t an option at the moment.
Because most of the music I listen to is played over a pair of crap 5w USB speakers I got for free with a six-pack of Heineken. (I do have a stereo in my living room, but that is reserved for the kid’s songs for my little daughter).
Because Sonos rocks.

Love the idea of portable music controlled by me anywhere in the house. Now I can take the Sonos system outside on the deck, upstairstairs, down stairs, the basement or anywhere I am entertaining guests.

I just retweeted – the reason this has to be mine is that frankly, until now, the only cool, qualified audio system I have is my ipod 3rd gen attached to a lame logi*ech speaker system with poor audio quality, and a remote that I have to open the battery door and close it again to get the remote to work at all…it’s been that way since I shelled out the $100 to purchase it, but I lost the receipt and threw away the packaging before I realized it so I was stuck…I really need to enjoy my music from my imac in a quality way, at a volume that i can hear from the other room…Please TechCrunch, give this awesome gift to me…Thanks!
I need to have this device because I am an idiot. This device might be what I need to overcome my life long curse of idiocy. It will help my mental stability by applying soothing sounds to my audio senses while awaiting my treatments.

This must be mine because I am a very mobile person and don’t have a PC, just a laptop. I’m also on my phone a lot because I do corporate development, so having it plugged in to a Bose system or something similar is not very convenient for me.
Having this system would mean I can have my phone next to me wherever I’m at in my house and still listen to quality music from real speakers instead of the ones on my MacBook Pro.
