Technorati released the first installment of its 2009 State of the Blogosphere report today – the rest will follow over the course of this week. Last week CEO Richard Jalichandra showed highlights from the report at BlogWorld in Las Vegas.

Working for me right now.
Summary: Everyone’s moving from blogging to Twitter/Facebook updates and Technorati is fucked.
Update 1: Does not include Techcrunch, which will, and should, continue blogging.
Update 2: I didn’t actually watch the video or look at the slides.
Maybe you should actually go to Technorati.com and you’d see they’re featuring an interview of Arrington.
I appreciate all the detailed feedback especially about the political impact of blogs. I couldn’t be at the event, but do wish that I could. Thank you for posting this to watch. I will be there in 2010!
