Last month, our post about MySpace debuting Pearl Jam’s new single turned into a debate over who could rightly claim to be the true kings of grunge. Regardless of where you stand on that, let’s agree that Pearl Jam’s new album is starting to sound great.
How do I know? Because a few more songs have just been unveiled by way of the new short documentary about the making of Backspacer, that debuted tonight exclusively on MySpace once again.
Check the video out below. It features the new songs “Got Some” and “Just Breathe” on top of the first single off of the album, “The Fixer.” As a bonus, there’s some nice footage of the band doing some axe throwing. Pearl Jam’s new album will be out in about a month.
Keep an eye on this new multi-media search engine launching soon.Heard about it and it looks promising.

As for PJ, isn’t it slightly odd that they’re doing a MySpace full-frontal when the network is in something of a freefall? Is it possible/probable that a handful of popular bands could always keep MySpace ticking along?
i love pearl jam. i really hope these guys can have a great record. that single is a bit weak. the one they played on conan’s prime time debut. they are way overdue for a great record.
i think they’re all walking on eggshells around each other, trying to appease everyone’s desire to be the star. that politeness is what ultimately ends up diluting their potential.

I can’t saw the video since I’m from Chile.. so I have to see it trough a US proxy..
Why wouldn’t we be allowed to see it outside the US?
