IE7 and IE8 are not an option for W2K users.
Most corporate desktops are still IE6 as many lie of business application will not run on later versions of IE.
IE6 will be around for a while yet.

Companies who choose to make their websites not useable by IE6 will loose a lot of business.

Many companies will not upgrade all their browsers so that employees can waste time on Youtube, facebook or the like.

I am a PC user and I use IE7, and I’ve even seen that image. I am sure I use IE7 bc I clicked the “about IE” in the help tab.
So google is setting up a conspiracy for the next Browsers! I even have Google Chrome, and it mostly fucks up youtube’s videos.
Damn you Google.

I have both IE6 and Foxfire on my computer. I absolutely detest Foxfire. It slow, awkward and unctrollable. I hate to see iE6 being deleted. I tried IE8, but that required a technician having to work on my computer. They will lose my business. I do review new CD’s, then decide which I wish to spend money to purchase. It will cost entertainers some cash.

I have Firefox 2.0.0.16, is that why my computer doesn’t play youtube videos as well as it used too?

I’m sick of the changes to youtube after Google took over & Yahoo getting rid of the beloved geocities & walmart no longer selling VHS tapes.

This might become a large pain for Microsoft. Since you can’t install more than one version of IE on a computer via normal means, corporations needing services not supporting IE6 might make a switch to Opera/Firefox/Safari/Chrome/name it. And use IE6 just for their corporate apps.

Serves MSFT right for not allowing people to install multiple versions of IE on Windows.
