Why does google assume they can just whip out a operating system because they thought of the idea?
You can’t just say “we’re coming out with a new operating system in 2010″ then also say “we’re going to need a lot of help in the open source community”
… Google, since you make a search engine, you obviously know how to make operating systems too.. why not even start building the computers?

IMO google needs to leave this failing half-baked idea behind and focus more in integrating google maps into 3d and google search goes 3d too

I guess Technorati is too late in this game. Already, we have tons of existing players in this space that are competing to be the real-time search engine. And companies like http://www.boil...gpage.com/music go one step further and creates “popular music” based on the listening behavior of people in twitter. While all these innovative companies around, it will be a hard nut to crack for Technorati.
