Here in Argentina it’s common for people who know for some time to give a kiss in the cheek, even between guys, when meeting. This includes friends, work colleagues and of course, family. I try to do not do that, but a quick trim to the company’s bathroom and you realize that perhaps hand shaking is not so healthy. but anyway, i’m always close to my alcohol gel!

Couldn’t agree more. Ever sat in a long business meeting and watched the folks in the pick their nose, scratch their crotch, sneeze into their hand, and then pick at a scab? Only to then have them extend that germ ridden hand to you when it’s time to say goodbye. I say we all do the Knuckle to Knuckle greeting. Even worse is a sweaty palm–you all know who you are.

Michael; you are not a doctor, you do not do surgery. You do not need your hands to be that clean, it’s impractical and stupid. We are not open guts microprocessors in need of a clean room, we were given something called immune systems.
