Liquid Planner is a great product for all the idiots (sadly, of which there are many) out there who have no concept of what it really takes to get a project completed.

Love those Gant charts… very, very important!!!

Our design firm tried using Liquid Planner – and honestly it was pretty ugly – but not as ugly as Basecamp (to their credit). We’ve had better luck with Projecturf – which as an added bonus has unlimited storage space, easy on the eyes while being intuitive and wickedly inexpensive.

I’ve used the free version (less than 3 users) and it’s great. Projects, especially in startups, always come out way differently than you expect at the beginning. So you need to be able to adjust and still have a sense for what your timing looks like.

I believe LiquidPLanner is missing some significant opportunities with respect to their value messaging and segmented pricing.
