just poke around a bit to see if tinker caught today's top event regarding Continental airlines incident. No, I can't find it on tinker's new features page. Surprisingly, this top news was not on Twitter's trending topics list either. I'm happy to notice this new topic was emerging at about 8:29am on the twitter daily new topic list on web2express.org website, which I created for studying real time data.

This case study shows the big difference between various trending applications including tinker, twitter and web2express. I used NLP and semantic technology, which automatically catch new events without prior knowledge.

Can anyone help me?....

My gmail account got hacked, and by the 'Activity Log' feature of Google, I could figure out the IP address from where my email account was logged in.

The IP was 204.15.23.171

I do not know how to figure out which browser is this. Is there any software that can figure out whose machine is this where my account was opened and emails were tampered?

How to track down this hacker with IP 204.15.23.171 ?

Good post Leena,

It is getting very hard to keep track of all the Twitter applications, and these types of articles really help. Looks like the apps are getting clustered into groups:

1. Clients (Tweetdeck, Seesmic, Tweetie, etc)
2. Trends (Tinker, Tweetscoop, etc)
3. Links (TweetMeme, etc)
4. People Directory (Tinker, WeFollow etc)
5. Ads (Tinker, ExecTweets, etc)

What I like about your comments on Tinker is that it solves one of the biggest issues facing Twitter- how to make new users understand the use of Twitter- much easier to follow well formed Trends and Events for new users.
