If you’re trying to make comparisons Cc:Betty is similar in focus to Google Wave. Google Wave is a tool for group communication and collaboration and Cc:Betty’s ‘Mailspace’ concept focuses on many of the same use cases. Basically, email hasn’t innovated to accommodate these group interactions so it’s a big need to be filled.

I can’t see going out of my way for a web based email log when I use gmail. Unlike wave there’s nothing compelling about. Maybe there’s potential but it is far from being useful at the moment.
