Where is Bebo on this list? In Scotland Id put money on it being the most popular social network.

Id also like to point out the Friendster shut down in 2000 yet its still the number one in the philippines??? hmmmm doesnt sound right to me.

Hello all.. this seems a great information piece.. a lot of research and analysis must have undergone it..

i am really impressed with this data.. but still there are some miss.. facebook is gaining a decent share in India, but it shows that Orkut is the most popular one.. which might discourage someone from India to join fb a little more depth in this would be really helpful..

As of until around beginning 2008, most Thais were using HI5.
Thai user is(was?) the largest community for HI5. But as of end of 2008 and till now, I think things have changed quite a bit. Many people changed to using Facebook more and more. I am sure some still do both, but I think this would have a very big impact on HI5.

Beside, I was surprised by how much funding Facebook has, 20 times of HI5’s? wow. Maybe its matter of time until HI is consumed by Facebook.
