@Adam Jackson
If you want to be a celebrity yourself, we launched our public pages, named Universes, in April 2007 http://www.techcrunch.com/2007/04/16/netvibes-launches-universe-customized-public-pages/

Just go to netvibes.com and publish yourself with your own multi-tab and personal URL.
More than half a million created and counting.

While I think that iGoogle is a great idea, I wonder just how many people even know what it is. I still talk to people everyday who say things like, "What is RSS?" And while iGoogle is a bit simpler than understanding what RSS and feeds are, I still think it's a hidden gem.

Personally, I'm not convinced that these celebs even USE iGoogle. Their publicity marketers probably do though...how cool!! ;)

There are some pages that got my attention however, like Seth Godin's (http://www.google.com/intl/en_us/help/ig/showcase/seth_godin.html) and Tim Ferriss' (http://www.google.com/intl/en_us/help/ig/showcase/tim_ferriss.html). I'm more apt to believe that techies like them use iGoogle and am very interested in seeing what kind of information they're reading, etc.

Thanks for the story. I love to see all of google's gadgets.

BTW, I disagree (jerky) that this pushes Google deeper into the content business. These are feed pages, which means that the content comes from places all over the web. iGoogle is simply a content aggregator or organizer. Even in the case of projects like Google Knol (knol.google.com) or Google Docs the content is still user generated. They are in the biz of organizing the world's content.
