ARM… I was thinking about ARM on CrunchPad but surely they want something newer and faster. ARM isn’t the perfect choice for them I believe in their opinion. The fastest ARM processor you can get is a Tegra clocked at 750 MHz or a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon which is for phones.

No. Not going to happen. What is so hard to understand about the crunchpad being a touchscreen tablet running a webkit browser? There is no need, nor room, nor power, to run W7.

Great stuff. If you can install Windows 7 on it, you have a best buy. Linux distro is also a good option but flash and pdf reading support are Must haves.

the much cheaper ARM 2GHz Cortex-A9 chip that would put tablet at the right price… just look at the Archos 5 & 9 if the Crunchpad is to beat them Michael Arrington needs to think energy efficiency & price….
