I just wish they had ASKED before they reassigned BING as my preferred search tool. I am, always have been happy with Yahoo. I don’t like Google and all the crud you have to sort thru to get appropriate responses, and from what I can see, Bing will be Google in spades.

Bing is far better than sift. When searching, one could say I am ‘binging’….sounds cool to me. Upon getting right results … Bingo!

Let me do some binging now and see how good/bad this decision engine is.

Sift = SHIT!!!

It all sucks!
All of the are lame… Don´t matter how many times they change the name, its not going to be better anyway..

Its simple if they want to be good in search. Make the webmasters happy then everyone would change.. But they don´t make people like me happy with the tools they give me so why would i recommend anyone to change?

Paint your car but if the engine is the same!.. Yeah i just think this is ridiculous.. Spend the money on making THE killer webmaster tools instead.

Are they taking on the adsense account for all the Bingo accounts?

Seems the logical answer to me. Search for why is Bing different appears to return an awful lot of ‘Play Bingo’ returns…..

That does not mean it’s a bad thing, last i check google is not the all knowing, all wonderful search so many claim it to be. It is the best option at the moment. I think after seing the Bing preview, google might be getting some tough competition. The way you search using it makes it easy even for a caveman.

Yes, I’m aware. It’s still not directly linked to footwear, but rather, a name evocative of a particular emotion or meaning. For some brands and products, that’s the right decision. For others, maybe not.

My point is that one shouldn’t get too hung up on a name. It’s only the first step in the life of a brand.

I hope James Gandolfini is part of that 100 million dollar ad campaign.. “The Bing” is a term practically owned by the Sopranos franchise… the timing would be perfect for James to reprise his role for this ad campaign and it would probably resonate well across a few age cohorts
