Agreed. Remember when Walmart was the greatest thing to happen in a community? But now look at them. A big bully, breeding slave labor in America and using sweatshops around the world working kids fingers to the bone for peanuts just so you and I can wear cheap clothes. They shut down stores if there is an employee strike. They dont care. Look at the Paypal issues. They cater to the internet criminals and steal money from the innocent.

I can only speculate the details of what will make Facebook a monster in the future. But seeing the expansion across the world and the way it is isolating everyone and their life story to one location, there has to be something really bad to come out of it. It all sounds good coming from people who are making a buck from it. But pouring your trust into it is like investing your soul. I think the direction we are going in will diminsh privacy and someday it will not even exist anymore. Our children are doomed.

Anyone notice how Yuri nodded his head yes when answering all the questions in the very beginning of the video? Now watch his head when asked if he was comfortable with the 10 million dollar valuation around the 40 second mark. He answers yes but shakes his head no.

never sell??? Of course, yes, by default, when you have a 15B valuation (or 10B,....whatever)...you limit your potential for selling to a small list of companies with that kind of cash. good thing they have really high margins.....oh, wait!

I bet FB probably made comparisons with Apple a lot when seeking funding so that people associate investing in 2% of FB like 2% of Apple in it's hayday. It's arguable whether FB will remain strong over the long term but I guess risk is highly associated with reward.
