With regards to the success of an Apple tablet, that can't be quantified based on the failure of a product that came before it. Apple has become incredibly successful making products that the people who buy them love. Remember when the iphone was announced, most of the rival phone manufacturers derided its lack of a physical keyboard and now they are all playing catch-up. And secondly, this talk of "I can't see it..." Or, "It won't do this..." Is just plain silly. Apple designers and engineers are the best at what they do and Apple's success is proof of that.
