		<description>I absolutely agree that the stream is polluted and most of what&#039;s going on out there is useless information. I also agree with a much earlier comment- people know they don&#039;t need to read all of it, and probably any of it. And writers definitely get a little too excited about this stuff. BUT none of that changes the fact that the web is changing and there is SOME useful information in the stream. From an academic point of view, it&#039;s interesting on its own. From a business point of view, there&#039;s value locked in the way the stream directs traffic around the web. It&#039;s obvious that whoever figures out the best way to filter out the garbage and track real-time traffic movement in real time will have a lot of valuable information on their hands.</description>
