Yes… Youtube is a big failure…

Just think of the cost for the maintenance of file hosting servers required for hosting. 24hrs of video each minute. And video hosting consumes hell lot of bandwidth.

Youtube is in no way a success when the operating cost is compared to the profit.

I am not surprised that you can do all this. Unix and Linux distros are more stable due to the systematic OS philosophy followed years back.

Latest Windows are far better than before.

But the complexity of rewriting of the OS in Vista and market pressures to deliver the product release made Microsoft make many tough decisions.
These decisions ultimately caught up with them.

There is now such a misunderstood fear about Linux that it is not versatile and only for geeks that a common folks dont even try it.

On the other hand, office and ecosystem of Windows is still very strong. So, you have this positive feedback loop to keep Windows going even after there are truly better alternatives.

Iridium isnt a failure. Afterall its running costs are provided by the US Military. After that its they dont care what they charge cause they dont need to worry.

And thats why everybody doesnt have an iridium phone.
