Gmail is slow? Dude, get a broadband connection, seriously. I have been using Gmail and Hotmail for some time and hotmail is way slower than gmail. Gmail is faster. I don’t know why so many people compain about Gmail, I personally like it and find it interesting all they’ve done in so little time. Thing hotmail hasn’t been able to do in more than a decade

Seriously, what’s up with every single comment that advocates the likes of Yahoo! Mail and Hotmail, at the same time they complain about advertisement in GMail?

Last time I checked (2 minutes ago), Yahoo Mail! still has intrusive image advertisement with flash/gif, and Hotmail still makes you sound like a retard by attaching unwanted advertisements at the end of your messages, not to speak of the flashy ads.

GMail? Plain, light, static text.
No stupid stock photo ads flashing on your face.

Also, the interface is the best of the three, by far.
Yahoo! Mail still has a theoretically redeeming feature: tabbed navigation.
Hotmail can simply go suck its own massive corporate genitalia.

Out of topic – I’m trying to import contacts on Yahoo Messenger from other account of mine but the Import Contacts page is blank. Any suggestions/help? Thanks!

Use this link. I transferred everything to gmail last week and it worked like a charm. I have multiple emails and the fact that now I can get everything in gmail is great. Labels rock…I can label 1 message with as many labels as I want and not have to duplicate it so it can go in multiple folders. Labs rocks! I dont care about google or anything like that….I care that they offer more than anyone else and are making an effort to make it better. with Hotmail and yahoo I am loaded with spam…not with gmail.

I have both a Gmail and Yahoo mail account, and used to have a Hotmail account.

Both the Yahoo and Hotmail inbox advertising are highly invasive and crass.

Using Gmail is a breath of fresh air after suffering the bombardment of invasive advertising with Yahoo and Hotmail.
