Wolfram Alpha is a good news in the area of search engines. It has some advantages compared to the other search engines. Still, it is not the competition to Google or other search engines, since it uses totally different approach. It is more like dictionary or encyclopedia than search engine.

I agree the branding could be better. Sure, people us bookmarks, etc. - but still, typing in Wolfram Alpha is a drag. Google is easy to remember.

Build the brand, make it short and sweet. Interested to see how this turns out, although he should have kept quiet.

I feel the same way about the Palm Pre and how they gave Apple too many clues for their new iPhone. It takes days in todays viral world to get the word out - I wouldn't mention anything until its ready to launch.

Nothing is impossible. Technology advance, nobody can't stop it. That's what we need especially if it is free. Exactly the same as when you want to reduce weight and gain health from being obese. There are abundant treatments to obesity but, the critical think is which one really works?

Wolfram Alfa make a big mistake by revealing their search engine snapshot over the web before launching it.

Google only wants a idea, & they make a new technology.

That's why GOOGLE is still number 1.
