On a similar note – this is also a feature on Widgetbox (http://www.widgetbox.com).

When you update your widget on Widgetbox, it automatically republishes across all of the sites on which it is embedded. For instance, if you were to change the look of your widget(s) or the RSS feed from which it is pulling content, the widget instances across the web would reflect that change. This is particularly useful for promoting timely information, conveying branding changes and keeping readers actively engaged.

I second the above post. This doesn’t sound like new capabilities. vFlyer has thousands of members already taking advantage of many of these capabilities.

The widgets are automatically updated when users makes changes to the widget configuration in the editor or when there are changes to associated content.
