Now that the CEO is out, it shows that Rupert may have made a big blunder hiring this guy.

It’s unfortunate but very typical. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s out in 6 months.

Jon Miller was not hired to “run” or “take over” MySpace. He’s hired to be the head of all of Newscorp’s digital properties–from the Wall Street Journal to IGN. Sounds like this position is designed to make sure Newscorp has a consistent strategy among all properties. Sounds more like this move is to get rid of the useless and potentially micro-management layer of FIM, so that the founders of MySpace (Chris & Tom) can run it properly.

I don’t think he needs to have a MySpace profile in order to be a CEO- as long as he knows how to use it.
