There’s a MySpace Google gadget for iGoogle that gives you this. I like it because it pops up on my Google page and lets me know if there’s anything worth checking out.

Ya, the Oneriot toolbar is great. the design is better, and provides less of a branded experience. A much better tool for the users.

Hm… I have to disagree with you.
Toolbar is something that
1. gives you much more usability (quick access, comfortable work and so on)
2. works as an advertising (often reminds you of the website, attracts to visit it)
So, benefits are for both sides.
