Already 100 tweets every 10 minutes. I also expect Techcrunch to be pretty busy.
I predict that iPhone 3.0 will include background apps.
Why else was Google’s Latitude not released for iPhone?
I believe Google received forewarning, and they’re saving iLatitude for iPhone 3.0
Just a guess.
wow, don’t know what we’ll get from 3.0
AFAIK Firmware/Software today. iPhone after June.
Is it me or is CoverItLive really sucking today?
robin. we’re all good from everything we can see. let me know what’s up on your end.
Is it me or is Robin kind of cranky this morning?
…which is to say, CoverItLive worked fine for me. And John was great about responding to the comments people were adding as the show went on. Nice work!
If they don’t add cut/paste that’s it…I’m done!
why?
Well the apple store still works so no new products for certain.
Background apps have to be there I think. Copy and paste is almost a must-do too.
Getting mad updates!

I’m crossing my fingers for copy and paste!
No the multi touch can’t pick up crossed fingers. They will have to use some other gesture to make copy/paste work.
not happy with the way they’re doing subscription payments.
Derek, if you click the BUY button for fart sounds that’s your problem, not Apples.
Still it looks like apple is becoming an even bigger micro payments platform than the xbox. And as a gen-yer with various impulse control issues, this is bad for me, and evil of Apple to take advantage of that.
what a horrible let down… sure they threw their devs some bones, but really a nonevent for customers…
So much for getting anything done today … I’m glued to the live feed.
Thanks Techcrunch!

wow, a third I phone. I guess June is almost here.
not impressed, Apple.
Nice recovery Apple….
So apple is basically coming out with full support for an entertainment rich experience and turning their shoulder to the enterprise/workplace.
All I have to say is Palm Pre.
I’m with you there Michael. I saw the Palm Pre on Jimmy Fallon and was really impressed wih it. Do you know who the carrier(s) will be? I love my iPhone but it is frustrating at times.
Good job Apple, only couple years later on the cut-paste function. I hope iPhone 3.0 has Latitude and a whole host of other features including Flash support & MMS, you’d expect from Apple a year ago
“These are only a few of the 100 new features and 1,000 new APIs”
Are we stalling for time? Come on Apple…
what happened to the rumors about the Mac tablet?
What is going to happen to the emails stored? Would we be able to store more? And the ones that are stored- would it still take forever to load??
Nice post! Be sure to check out my site too at http://macmaniapodcast.com
Ugh, Apple conference day to me = Time spent trying to find actual news on blogs increased by 20x
