i was one of those wacky guys from ebn years ago – and i say hats off to kutiman!

i see a lot of this type of work these days, but the kutiman tracks are some of the best i have seen.

the music is great, the editing is tight, and he’s got a good sense of humor.

i posted to facebook and viralized it around a bit too – just doing my duty as a good netizen.

Like most everyone else, I’m completely blown away by this work.

I still haven’t seen the question answered, however: Can anyone verify whether or not pitch shifting was done? It wouldn’t detract from the work in any form, but I’m curious to know whether or not the pieces of this fabulous puzzle had to be coaxed in or not.

I think people are hungry for some real music played by real musicians using actual instruments. I get soo tired staring at yet another 4-person rock band, playing the same tired chords and hooks. I idly entertain myself with thoughts that in future generations aboriginal Americans will be seen in the streets performing their quaint cultural heritage.
