IT DOES NOT MATTER ALL THE INNOVATIONS AND CURES MAN COMES UP WITH IF HE DOES NOT RELY ON GOD's WISDOM AND HEEDING TO HIS CALL FOR HIS/HER LIFE THEN ALL IS VAIN. JESUS CHRIS IS THE LORD AND SAVIOUR FOR THIS WORLD AND HE IS COMING BACK. GET BACK TO THE BIBLE AS THE ONLY HOPE FOR THIS WORLD. MAN CANNOT DENY IT !

Most people think it will happen soon. Even if they're able to now, it would be a bad move. Twitter still has no idea how to make a profit and is mostly spam (from what I've seen). Google needs to do whatever they can to stay out of the antitrust spotlight. To risk limiting any further growth options against antitrust laws for an unprofitable spam haven like Twitter is a BIG gamble.
Each tweet is already a webpage crawled and cached by google. So google can still benefit from twitter by improving on possible integrations with the Twitter API and google search and social media applications... without any risk.
