Great job Meebo! I bet Meebo has some really good revenue sharing models with these sites for increased traffic and chat-keywords based ads. I think they'll find a good way to pay the IM networks for their traffic.

Wow that looks and works really nice. It'd be perfect for my gaming blog. The chatroom I have currently embedded in a page isn't used much.

PS: I did find it a bit distracting that the tips menu automatically pops up. Is it possible to have your mangospring footer be minimized at startup? I also wouldn't want to see a new user pop up every few seconds if I had that on the blog during busy times, so I'd want that turned off as well.

I love Meebo. It's my only IM "client". I use it at home, at work, basically anywhere one can access the web. What's amazing about Meebo is that one doesn't have to install anything on his PC and it looks clean compared to competitors like eBuddy. And I wouldn't mind seeing a few more ads on the Meebo desktop if it meant they will continue to provide such an excellent service.

A much more interesting article would have been

Meebo Finally Develops a Business Model

All of these services are nice, but the job of a company is to make profits, not just spend shareholders' money. There are plenty of worthwhile charities that focus on that.

How in the world is advertising on a chat which people will ignore even more than ads on social netowkrs ever going to even pay for their server and bandwidth costs, not to mention turn a profit?
