You may be telling yourself “in this economy…. bla, bla bla,,,…..”

But you’re not going to get ex-Myspacers or even photobucket people. They’re going to continue having a great job *not* at your VC backed startup.

You’re going to get crap unless you post the goods. Good people can work anywhere in the worst economy. You should also note that 22 people at PB were probably not developers. Count QA, managers and other people out of that.

Let’s all, all developers leave the web platform and ALL move to mobile applications ???

Let’s make it so bad nobody wants to use internet web 2.0 platform applications anymore.

Let’s do something rash that will force people to buy all new hardware and software. Whether they want to or not. Like the constant upgrades of the Win98 days.

Let’s get HTC to make phones that are obsoleted every 2 weeks.

You don’t get anywhere by not being evil to some extent, and Microsoft has been government regulateded all out of their evilnesseses.
