I renounced my Canadian citizenship which I also never asked for. They are apparently keeping in the 6 digits of money that they stole from me, and I can’t apparently do anything about that. Again there is no checks and balances there. They can make infinite mistakes and you can’t do anything to correct them. They wouldn’t write me in English in violation of the charter of rights and freedoms and when I complained to OCOL, they gave me a french person who didn’t understand a word I wrote in my complaint.

The only reason law 101 exists is to prevent English schools from opening and primarily to continue to let the government take English books and services and make enormous amounts of money for simply translating them into French. The french version of any English or American service is about 50% more for no apparent reason.

There are no checks and balances outside of a single ombudsman at any crown corporation. These are corps which were invoked by the Queen of another country, and they control BILLIONS of dollars in funds. 1 person oversees them and they work with them, party with them and have a desk right next to the people they are supposed to be overseeing.

I recently went to BDC in Montreal for a “web maintenance” job. In the job description, it requires 2 years experience of web development. However, during the interview, they said they only need someone to do copy & paste – not even HTML – and to correct French grammars!

Canada is full of favoritism and nepotism, especially in the public sector. When was the last time you saw the government publicly post a job in tech field?
