sweet. thanks for the live stream.
Is there a list with the lineup of the Crunchies categories and a list where we can see the nominees in each category.
Would be really helpful.

nice reference material. it helps fill the void for us content addicts. thank you.
LiveLocator.com - watch it.
Congratulations to all of this year’s winners!
Crunchies FTW!
Hope Dropbox and Lala get the respect they deserve, great products I love.
You’d think that most of them would say Google. Congrats to everyone who won. I’ll work at it one year
Can I submit an entry? It’s a gathering of failed startup enterpreneurs and their employees: http://www.f2bbs.com
I wish I was there!

That’s pretty cool, but it would be cooler to have your events on weekends when people who work can attend.
If you’re watching this, don’t listen to the cockroach thing. If you don’t have the resources and means to see your product through do not start.
Bootstrapping is dead today where as it was not in 2000. The people at this conference couldn’t care less about paying bills.
I’m really curious about the technology and logistics behind making the stream happen - particularly the links between the line cut and Ustream.
Think you guys could do a writeup on this?
The idea of the Crunchies still boggles my mind. Does everyone in California want to be a movie or rock star?
Yes. The people who attend or watch these “shows” are more interested in achieving “Internet celebrity” than building a viable product and achieving profitability. An Internet celebrity is, in actuality, a Z-lister in the offline world. Case in point: King Clown Loic Le Meur.
The sensitive nellies will tell you that they’re changing the world. Truth is, they will, for the most part, be forgotten in a year’s time.
Richter Scales cracked me up, awesome job guys!!!!
Marissa here, Marissa there. How boring.
The Crunchies should be about startups, not about a multibillion, monopolistic company that stopped to be good and started to be evil a long time ago already.
F…. ight Google!
We can rebuild the Crunchies in LA, but under a different name. And it can be more about startups and less about corporate sponsorship?
I know a place we can rent in Culver City near my place.
If you want to get a hold of me @ t3chscr3am3r at gmail (3 means e)
I think we could pull it off with under 100k.
what the hell was that from the standford mobile phone orchestra

how cool!
At least Google is in good company. Microsoft, another 1000 pound gorilla. And now get off the stage, please.
I didn’t know Facebook is a startup. But now I remember they still have no business model. So they must be
That’s also the reason why Zuckerberg has just been voted “Best CEO”. Good CEOs make sure they have a profitable business. The Best CEO doesn’t need to.
Did mogulus try to go pro on you?
@ Jonathan Brown
How do the Crunchies have anything to do with movie or rock stars?
Where is the list of winners?
Watched the whole thing. Awesome coverage. Great job everyone!
Can someone post the winners? The feed is off and I missed the live broadcast…
Mike, if you’re not getting out the list of winners real soon, french newspapers will be first, in spite of a two-hour lunch. Could there be anything worse for you?

The Crunchies are not the Oscars of tech. They are the Grammys of tech.
“Michael is feeling a bit under the weather”
Let the rampant rumors of Mike having cancer and being at death’s door begin.
