wow, you’re pretty stupid mRNA. What macrumors did is like leaving the door to your house open with a big sign out front saying “valubles in here!”
‘the configuration is irrelivent’? No. had they had even the simplest, stupidest password protection or modifications to the script, a single line in the .hta on the website, heck, *anything*, they wouldn’t have had the problem.

[...] So I’m sure you’ve heard by now, Macrumorslive.com got hacked while it was giving live updates of the Keynote. Too bad because they had a pretty cool Ajaxian feed update thing going on. I’m willing to bet that was step number one towards opening themselves up to hackers. The first hack that I noticed was one stating “STEVE JOBS DIED.” Macrumorslive responded that they didn’t know how that got into the feed and Steve Jobs did not die. Sure enough a couple minutes later there were tons of garbage posts, some profane, some just dumb. If you want to see what was posted, techcrunch posted some of the feed… [...]
