If you enjoyed visiting DMFail, which surfaced Twitter messages intended as private messages on a public website but ultimately failed, you’re bound to get a kick out of this: F*** My Life is a service in beta where registered users are given a public platform to complain about just how screwed up their lives are and why.
In true Web 2.0 style, other users can comment on the short revelations and indicate that they in fact agree about the fact his / her life is f*cked up, and/or if the submitters actually deserve it. Thanks to those groundbreaking features, you can filter down stories based on the number of people who agree or think it’s well deserved, and you can also get a top-down list of the most discussed or most favorited life stories.
It all makes for very awkward reading (it reminds me of that creepy, now defunct Confession account on Twitter), although I’m sure there are people that will actually enjoy this.
Update: there’s also What A Fail, an iteration of the popular French Vie De Merde, and F*MyLife seems to be heavily ‘inspired’ by it.
There are currently only 100 stories on the website, but if you have anything to complain about in your life, eat your heart out (in max. 300 characters). Do remember to assign the correct category, so F*MyLife can keep making these graphs as an insight into what makes people miserable the most.

That is an eloquent way to put what is basically a pointless service.
dont be a dick man its actually just a way to help other people feel better and it could possibly discourage suicide thru learning that other people’s lives suck even worse
The service does provide incredible value, for people who feel good knowing others are even more miserable than they are

What a fail is the official english version of the french website viedemerde.fr. It was created in january 2008. The copy is fmylife guy it’s easy to see

I started a similar site a while ago called the F*ckYouSite (http://www.thefuckyousite.com) – a place to say fuck you to the world. Which was more of a place to complain about annoyances in society, not necessarily complain about your life.
Sure http://www.whatafail.com is made by viedemerde.fr’ creators. I visit this site every day (yes, i’m french^^). Very serious team, the website is updated every day, F*** My Life hasn’t new text since… 4 days !

This is a pathetic promo for this stupid site. – I mean c’mon, I thought this was a tech board.
Generations to come will look back in dismay on this swing of the pendulum as a time when what was wrong with people was celebrated. All other times have turned their backs on, shunned, erradicated, bannished, etc. people with such behavior since it sucks from the well-being of the community.
Skankiness, snarkiness, jackassery, hubris, etc. are badges people are wearing proudly. Either the majority are stupid or they’re making money on “stupid” for this to continue as it has.

yeah i have seen http://www.badhap.com and it seems like they are real life situations. People from all over the world having a bad day. There’s no cloning involved: F***mylife is just the new name of Whatafail, which itself replaced TodayShitHappens, which was the first english version of ViedeMerde.

I have been reading FML for a long time. But after FWM (i found it before i read natasha talking about it) i relate more with “F Why Me” when i see all the things in my life that went bad i cant remember one time i didnt look up and ask “Why Me, Fuck why me ?” lol and you know something else.. My life my be fucked up, but i do give a fuck.. FML was cool but FWM i think is better.. ohh and they have confessions now..
