Another 'authority' service?? You serious? Get a fucking clue that Twitter has nothing to do with 'authority'. Individuals have their own value, regardless of how many followers they have. Get over the god damn number Loic and whoever else that wanted this.

am wondering why they changed their name - could it be because they were daft enough not to register their twitter account name before they decided to launch the service?

although i tend to think twithority - is more of a mouthful than twitority - how about tweethority - ah no that seems to be taken too.

the quick and the dead - i guess.

Guys

Looks like we have networking, iphone and twitter overkill on Techcrunch.

I would love to see some coverage of mobile remittances, payments and banking innovation as well as some stuff on clean energy and how mobile and net technologies can get together with the clean energy industry to create new properties. I see nothing on cloud computing at all. No one is thinking new media anymore or new audiences. We are all getting swept along by what seems nice to do and beyond a point, it begins to look narcissitic.

Much as I love social networking-and it is a key area I work in- there is a larger world beyond facebook and twitter(no disrespect) and even apple. Can we know and debate about what that larger world does?
