There are tons of jobs on Craigslist. That’s where I got my last job which I really like, and that’s where Robert Scoble got his job at NEC.

I still don’t make as much as Robert(yet), but Craigslist is full of 6 figure jobs.
Nod and answer yes to all the questions!
Read up on obscure CSS and Javascript OO topics.
And wear clean clothes.
Jeff,
Any plans to kick off on Australian version?
Cheers

Good to see people are still actively hiring. I hear competition for open slots has increased, and expected salaries has decreased.
Job listings are like car reservations
Jerry: I don’t understand. Do you have my reservation?
Car Rental Assisstant: We have your reservation, we just ran out of cars.
Jerry: But the reservation keeps the car here, that’s why you have the reservation.
Car Rental Assistant: I think I know why we have reservations.
Jerry: I don’t think you do. You see, you know how to *take* the reservation, you just don’t know how to *hold* the reservation. And that’s really the most important part of the reservation: the holding. Anybody can just take them.
Interesting… I wonder why there are no posts seeking writers such as myself.
Is it that writers are in plentiful supply? Or that their work is devalued? Or some other reason…?
Jonathan,
You have to stop writing phrases and start writing
if … else
In other words, start writing some code instead of your opinions and work, you will get.
1. I mean this in a nice way but your website says spam..it looks and feels like spam. How can we take you seriously when you don’t take your website seriously.
2. If your a writer then why are you not showing off your writing skills in a blog. Let us see how your words flow..
You got to bring it… people are making truly beautiful websites, the bar has been raised.
Fair enough…I’ve rolled it back to a previous version.
The problem with blogging as a tech writer is whether to blog about a) writing issues, which typically is not of interest to clients, or b) technical issues, which are out of the ambit of my work…Once I figure that out, I can return to blogging again.
Thanks for the feedback, Chris and Gebadia!

Ugh..Craigslist is an awful place to look for work. Lots of noise, little quality, IME anyway.

I believe that, the man who learns from the Basicas definitely will be in top one or the Other day….
