The decision to do a separate FriendFeed instance makes sense to me. The de-duping is a nightmare when you put all these overlapping together (twitter tumbler facebook friendfeed. We’ve dealt with the same problem at Dipity.

We decided to keep these together and try to deduplicate messages, but it wasn’t an easy call.
