Mike - you meant to write the "fast declining" financial site - Compete is reporting more than 11% decline in traffic in November.

Also, Mint suffers from the Youtube problem: it will take years, if any, to turn profitable. Very few people link on the suggestions of savings after learning its crap - but it's not Mint's fault , as people have many other ways discovering cheaper or better consumer products/services.

Mint raised more than $20MM, burning it fast, and whoever will buy them will need to finance loses for a long, long period before making a very, very small profit.

So the cost of "FREE" in Mint's case is costing someone a lot of moeny...

The Mint.com iPhone app is now searchable in the App Store.

A few other comments:
For users without iPhones, they can obtain their balances via SMS text-message. Since mid-November, users have been able to text ‘bal’ to shortcode MYMINT (696468) for on-the-go access to their financial information.

The application also provides exceptional data security. If users lend or lose their iPhone, they can disable iPhone access to their Mint.com account at any time from the website – so no data would be visible to an unauthorized user.
