Your wrong on LeWeb-
It was not about Mike and LeWeb, it is about Sethi and how he lied to his own employees about BlogNation. This post is about how that the founder, the leader of TwitBlogs has a history of cheating and can not be trusted with your Twitter credentials.

Your wrong on the domain-
Sethi couldve bought the domain from someone so the whois date of the owner domain. acquisition could stayed the same.

Your wrong on Twitwall-
Carleun had posted undisputable evidence that Sethi and his Twitblogs right hand man/partner Kondrat copied Twitwall. Assuming that Sethi and Kondrat conceptualize Twitblogs a year ago, then it still shows how incompetent they are that it took a year to bring a broken Twitblogs to alpha.

If Sethi is going to send their fans to defend them in TechCrunch, he should’ve sent someone smarter than this guy “alternative view”.

I’m not going to make any kind of statement about Sam Sethi. The history is there for people to read and make a balanced view on (you won’t and shouldn’t expect get that on TC).

Funny that the reason for the original fall out was Le Web comments was it not? Look where we are now

Anyway, looking at the “now”. The “twitwall” rip off comments and so on are just plain ridiculous. A two second check on Whois tells you the domain was registered a year ago so this (in concept at least) has been in the works. In any case there are a million (well, close to) twitter based apps that are all alike – not rip-offs… just different implementations. It is also in Alpha.

Now, we’re all entitled to our own opinions, and as this is Mike’s blog he can say what he wants. But i suggest that most rational people will weight up against other posts and offerings.

You’ve got it, Twitterfeed – http://twitterfeed.com/ – is awesome for that. You can set up a Tumblr or Posterious page and just feed it into Twitterfeed and onwards to your Twitter account. Ditto for your Flickr feed and all sorts..

People should use glue like Twitterfeed to join services together, not log into all new services that don’t add anything.

yes, I was trying to think how to explain to others that I use this site (TC) as a kind antivirus for new apps. the closest I got was people like MA & co. being up in the crows nest of a ship on the lookout for Icbergs (dodgey apps.) so if they shout ICEBERG AHEAD! – rather like the Titanic crew you have to decide if to bash straight into the thing or take evasive action, being a classic chick captain, make a choice, panic then make a run for the lifeboats!

Why do ppl have such a hard time realizing that this blog BELONGS to mike arrington. If he wants to post about a really runny dump he took this morning, it’s perfectly within is rights and none of us are under any obligation to read it.

If this was a public blog that was bought out or is being financed by investors, then I can see your point about Mike staying completely objective and avoid posting about subjects that are a conflict of interest.

But it’s not. TC is Mike’s blog and if he wants to post a negative article about someone he doesn’t like, then so be it.

Get over it.

Correction. Sam Sethi did not “found” or work at Feedburner. He wrote about it. That’s quite different.
