It’s cold and dark in November, especially in Finland. But who cares. Following on from yesterday’s “Slush” conference in Helsinki, TechCrunch is hosting some panel discussions on startups in the Nordic and Baltic area of Northern Europe, featuring some of the hottest startups to come out of the region. Tune in for the live video from our Brunch event below, courtesy of Floobs
Chaired by TechCrunch UK editor Mike Butcher, the event will be followed by plenty of networking over brunch. The event is run in association with Slush and ArcticStartup and is sponsored by Muxlim.

Hi Finland.
Mike, you think you TC could be a part of a Conference like this in Kingston Jamaica?
i want to see the audience…
streaming is working great. good audio too.
ok, someone’s mobile phone near the camera is screwing up audio now.
The mobile phone disturbance in the video is bloody annoying.
Hi Mike, we will get people to switch off their mobiles after the coffee break
waw what a nice mobile noise from finnland
Was a great slushy morning for good, relevant discussion about being a startup in Finland. Over the past few years the scene here has really changed for the better and there’s now a lot of buzz and vibe going on, plus some very promising startups.
Thanks to TechCrunch for doing this. Hopefully we’ll hear more from you in the future.
I think there really was no startup scene in Finland year and a half ago. Now it seems that it’s one of the most active in Europe after the UK and the Netherlands. At least the one getting most coverage of the whole community, not just individual startups.
PS. Would it be possible to get the videos?
The archived video should be up from Floobs, hopefully soon, hey guys,
Great event this morning. Thanks for the invite Mike and lets see more of you guys in Finland!
unfortunately disturbance from the mobile phones is on the video too…
thanks for putting the highlight video up. Slush was great and I wish I could have been able to join the brunch..
