Bitgravity’s product is cool. You can probably get a better demo of it if it was used in a different location rather than at diggnation. Although that is a great angle of the back of Kevin Rose’s head!
I haven’t seen Diggnation in months and I’m a bit surprised at how thin and ill Kevin Rose looks. Anyway, I will be watching this broadcast.
Kevin Rose is going for the genuine Steve Jobs look – thin and gaunt. He’ll be wearing black turtle necks and strutting a stage pretty soon.

There is probably just ONE event why people would want to view something from six different angles – catwalking models at the fashion show…Can’t think of anything else worth watching this way, not even sports…we don’t need six different angles real-time to watch NFL/NBA

He does indeed look kind of ill, doesn’t he? But besides those catwalking models, I would think of political debates, where I would like to watch the speakers face and the immediate reactions on the face of his adversary…

Kevin is like the cool geek. One that might have been with a woman. Not sure i like the set.. and WTF is with the juice…

The MultiGravity tool has other niche categories where it can be great, but filming diggnation using this tech isn’t very exciting.
What if movies like Matrix, Transporter (etc other such action packed movies) .. are available to be viewed from multiple angles ( although the budgets will surely skyrocket filming such stuff)
This could be a nice cool thing for couple of episodes but not an ongoing thing for sure. Because there was no editing viewers thought they were not able to see the pics and sites which were mentioned in the episode. And some were ranting about it in the chat, if only they clicked on the director’s cut.
Although am not a regular viewer of Diggnation but I prefer the normal regular edited version.
Diggnation aside, the technology used is amazing, and should be used where it is really useful.
Dont you think it would be cool if Youtube uses it for their live event?
