Been following this company. I like the direction. Functional navigation could be clearer but for v1.0 it’s a good tool.

RedLasso didn’t play by the rules and is gone. Its former users should embrace the options that are now available, like the 1cast format. Although only in beta, it shows a lot of promise as a viable resource for the blogger community and beyond.

I think the advertising is less intrusive than other sites and I was easily able to find the content I wanted. The idea of creating a personalized video clip playlist is cool.

I got an invite to the beta, as well as the new iphone app. Easy sign-up and clean interface. I think the commenters above have missed the point. This isn’t for finding specific clips that are days old – that’s for YouTube. 1Cast is for finding very perishable (breaking) news clips on topics of interest.

I would think it’d be difficult to scale up the delivery of content from the partners.

Just grabbed an invite and started playing with it. It’s hard to find the clips you want and the advertising seems excessive.. but it is still abeta so hopefully things will improve.
