TechCrunch will host a party closing LeWeb conference next December 10th in Paris. About 600 hundred people will enjoy an open bar and live music in a relaxed atmosphere after two days of intense conference (All details are here). This party will be accessible to non participants to LeWeb and we’ll be selling 300 tickets (if you have a LeWeb pass you don’t need to buy a ticket. Just bring your pass with an ID).
The first 50 tickets are now available at 30 euros (pricing will go up over time). If you want to keep track of upcoming ticket sales the best way is to follow my twitter account (@ourielohayon).
We’d like to thanks our sponsors for supporting this event: Facebook, SFR, HotelAParis.com et KonoLive, FaisonsAffaire.com, 3999.com, MyPronostic and AF83.

j’ai teté d’acheté à -2 places et j’ai eu un message d’erreur… Je compte bien sur ma place !
Trying to get one of the 300 party tickets but website says sold out (with only 56 participants). Am I doing something wrong? Thx
Joni, nothing wrong. the first 50 tickets were sold out after 3 min! a new wave of tickets will be avaialble soon. stay tuned
Yup all tickets gone. How come there are no British statups at LeWeb ‘08 ?
OMG! How can they have a party when the economy is tanking?!! This is going to become the poster child for Web 2.0 excess!!!
Because these conferences and parties are not intended to educate or assist budding entrepreneurs in their ventures. They are not intended to provide insightful information on how to better execute and monetize businesses. Instead, they are created for the organizers to profit from.
It’s a really good business if you think about it. Just create a panel of supposed “Internet celebrities” and have them talk about the same things they talk about at the 800 other conferences, and charge people to attend.
@ Sandy and Nirav: Have you heard of Networking? The conferences are intended to bring like minds together. So since the economy is tanking we should all stay at home and die! So Sandy, you haven’t attended a party since the economy started tanking? At 30 Euros it is obvious this is not a profit making party. It is not everything you complain about. Techcrunch, please carry on!
Actually Nirav makes an interesting point … almost like why not use applications such as http://www.vyew.com, http://www.showdocument.com, or Yugma.com to discuss some of the materials instead of running such meetings…
But, hey, enjoy the party - sounds like it will be a lot of fun.
