Good Lord, another conference? I thought startups were supposed to clamp down on frivolous spending?

Going to these conferences is not only a waste of time and money, but I doubt you’re going to learn crap about building a viable revenue-earning business.

Come to think of it, being a conference organizer is a pretty good racket. It’s a pretty good way of shaking down wannabe entrepreneurs.

OK, I’ve been reading everyone’s mundane reasons for why they need to go to NewTeeVee Live. I want to network, don’t have money, blah blah blah BORING.

But it’s not just about me. I would like tickets so I can tell the organizers in person that it’s TV – not TeeVee.
Of course they’ll probably tell me they chose the name because that was the only available domain. Pretty much the reason behind every wacky name these days…

I would love to attend this event!!!

I am currently going to grad school studying for my MBA focusing on entrepreneurship. In one of my classes right now I am doing a project where we we could choose a topic of our choice. I am currently researching Online Video and how that is effecting the traditional media business model. This event would be a great learning experience to learn first hand what businesses are doing rather than having to rely on secondary research from TechCrunch!

Oh and I can also do a mean internet video star melody of the star wars kid dance while singing chocolate rain! You should see it…its awesome!
