What an election, glad it is finally over… I am disappointed that a liberal one, but am pleased that an african american did. I am also amused that in the shadow of all this, prop 8 etc went through. Hehe!

Also, the democrats have been denied a filibuster-proof senate, which is awesome…

I’d point out that Obama won by 5.3% of the popular vote. If this had been the other way around, there is no chance our liberal media would be calling it a “McCain landslide”. No, then it would be a “very close finish” or whatnot.

I was impressed by McCain’s concession speech – wonderfully composed. And I was amazed by the Obama campaign, the way they distorted so much truth to such a successful degree.

And finally, I am pleased that even in this forum, Obamatons do not have the only say.

Ironic statement: in Argentina the government just confiscated the citizens’ private savings accounts, the equivalent of the US 401Ks and private money invested in mutual funds — Why is it ironic? It is because the democrats in Congress just proposed similar actions as part of Obama’s plan “to get there” — Where is there? no one knows. Not even Obama…
It is part of the plan to have the federal government everywhere: socialized health care plus the “spreading the wealth” plan to steal money from hard-working successful Americans. Interesting. After having read many of these things id like to add in my 2 cents. Obama won by 3 states out of fifty. Had a certain three states gone to McCain, McCain would have won.

3/50ths doesn’t seem to me to be a rout.

Or another way to calculate it is to see what percent of votes McCain lost by in certain states that would have sealed the victory for him. A 3% swing of Obama supporters over to McCain in significantly less than 50 states would have given McCain the win. Also not a rout.

But it definitely was decisive. Let’s call it that.
