I am a newbie to any site that I run into that's new, however there is purpose to everything one does. For the most part finding out what is going on with other sites as well. To me I see so much competition out here that one always wants to be better than the other. I did imagine if the world all met in one place. Like villages to villages. US territorites to 3rd world countries, we are all mixed into one planet. The focus though is find out what is really going on in peoples agenda's. This world seems like places are for those who just want to hang out. Yeah I do that sometimes and just search and read until something is pertinent to my hobbies or goals. For any reason that one person wants to meet others, start out the the simplest way to say hello and how are you. Always introduce yourself and be honest with those you connect to.
Open topics of suggestions and related media images is always a competition too out here. But aw heck as one person out here there are more by the billions want their voices heard too. So here I am writing on this site giving my contribution. As a writer in my own style, your encouraged to do the same. Put your two cents in and your good to go. For me if there a great places that you believe is interesting out there, that's the best way to start your conversation. So I close of just a simple hello and everyone and a close of may everyone's day be a great one. Dropping in that's all.

Yahoo rules in the mail space? Yahoo can beat GMail?

Seriously, who is your dealer, because I have *got* to get what you're on.

YahooMail has become a fetid cesspool of spammers and phishers... I know precisely *one* person who still uses their YahooMail address, and it's because too many "old business contacts" have it, so they haven't migrated away.

GMail is head and shoulders above Yahoo!Mail...

It's interesting to think that Zimbra is owned by Yahoo because it's so different from its other properties. Will Yahoo focus more attention on sophisticated web apps for specific niches (instead of general internet users)? I doubt Zimbra is part of Yahoo's Open strategy and it should stay as independent as possible.

Pretty impressive :) This is the first time I have ever come across Zimbra. I wish, though... that companies will come up with names that sound less similar.... Plurk, Plaxo, Pownce,
Twitter, Yammer - they either rhyme or start with the same letter.

Very timely move by Zimbra... I just read that applications to Universities are up as much as 30% in some areas... a sign that many people feel that their current job is not secure?
