this is cool news, now I know why they opened up applications in their home page…i like their thinking. Best I liked is their mail app, its simple and easy compared to AOL integration.

I really like the implementation and idea. I’m still trying to figure out how HearWhere gets its data, perhaps myspace developer network, and funnelling data into its own db with the relevant info. All the other functionalities of this site are easy to reproduce.

Anyways, I think this site is a winner, so I’m gonna make a clone of it.

What yahoo needs to work on is to use a decorator software pattern across all its web holdings to add value to users. So far, each site is a silo, but these sites should be leveraged to distribute desired functionalities to the end usr.
