Perusing the list…

Mountainblasting.com seems a bit amateurish and there isn’t really any content (sorry).

Bikemap.net looks very nice, but is also lacking content.

Sundaymorningrides.com, seems to have lots of content and international coverage (nice).

MapMyRide.com still way buggy…steer clear.

I’m a big fan of Trails.com.

Try SundayMorningRides.com for GPS motorcycle rides maps – currently 1062 maps and counting…

It’s 100% free and unlike most of the previous sites there is no login required

You can also view the maps in your iPhone (or Andriod)

Looks OK. A little cleaner that MapMyRide.com, but also with fewer options. And MapMyRide has an iPhone app (although it's still really buggy).

I can’t handle hot smart girls talking tech. It is too much for my weak heart. I have heard rumors they exist but never met one in my life. The hot smart tech girl is like the illusive red head. The dream that leaves you covered is sweat, glad you did not meet because you would of made a fool of yourself saying something like “I play basketball.” The male desire to copulate makes you unable to say anything of meaning. Like a fool you try to sound all smart and end up sounding like a jackass….

You end the night by blurting out “will you marry me” and for a moment when she gives you that dumb founded freaked out look you think she will say yes, that is until she starts laughing, calling you sweet.

Or does that just happen to me??

I have yet to sign up at RouteYou, but here’s a brief explanation on the difference between RouteYou & Google Maps – you can classify RouteYou as a social network, but unlike Facebook/MySapce, RouteYou is an avenue for bikers/travelers (in fact, anyone who needs a cycling route).
- whereas Google Maps is (possible) the building block for the Route You app. Does that answer your Q?

Umm… good question. RouteYou is a hybrid web application – another new mashup. There’s a bit of a social network element to it. Not so popular in the US at the moment – the users are mainly in the Europe.

Good service but there is certainly room for improvement. For example, my walking route is 90% on the highway. In any case, I'd be interested in looking into their technology for UMapper

useless. it doesn’t actually do routing, as far as i can tell. oh, well.

google maps already does walking for some cities, too.

for cycling routes, it’d be nice to have a service which understands how to use bike paths, back streets and cut-throughs, many of which are inaccessible in a vehicle and so not offered as routes – we get there more directly in some places and are glad to cycle bonus miles to avoid driver aggro points in others, having fun, saving plenty $&C – please look out for us, as we look out for you
