No need for a company like this when any company / station / content producer knows that you can do this by shooting in-house with cameras that record to solid state drives like P2 and create content for broadcast on TV and online at the same time. No need for your service. So maybe you should fire yourself.

Having spent some time working with one of those $50,000 workstations with network-level editors in D.C., this could be huge and a huge time saver. Clearly this company has some serious muscle under the hood if they’re able to process video in “minutes.” Now if someone could move broadcast-ready editing into the cloud…

Yeah they still use high end workstations, but only because they have to do live graphics and can’t wait for something to render. Comparing his editing tool with a high end real time suite isn’t fair.

Besides Final Cut Pro has pretty much given everyone pro-level capability for far less since 2001. Now it’s being used to edit everything from shorts to Academy Award winners.
