Wow! Taking on LinkedIn and Salesforce.com in one go! They don’t lack ambition….

I agree that online business networking offers much potential than is available on Facebook or LinkedIn today. We launched WeCanDo.BIZ in May and are getting a very solid stream of signups. People are using our Biz Needs tool to “tweet” their most urgent business need, which we then turn into a sales lead for someone else. Simple stuff that is brokering valuable new contacts.

We’re thinking about the connection to SFA and CRM systems, but are much more likely to provide direct connect options to what’s already out there rather than re-invent the wheel.

I am very interested and excited to see how this system works now that it is out “in the wild”. I have was privileged enough to have been given access to Smibs a couple months ago and have been able to watch it grow and grow. I am sure that growth will continue on for quite some time to come!

I have been following this for a while now, and I am extremely excited that it has finally been released to public beta! It looks very professional and easy to use. There are of course a few minor wrinkles to be ironed out but that’s to be expected while in beta. I think this will be a very useful tool, great job guys!

This is looking very professional and user friendly. As a non sales person myself, I can see this being a huge asset to my industrial designs. And even better, as a student I’m placed right in a world of professionals rather than other students. What a great chance for me to gain some exposure!

I am sure it took a lot of work to set it up but they need a lot of work to make it visible. The site, after you get in looks very “closed”. Professional networking is a great area to get into right now especially since social networking is somewhat dead and a lot of social networking users are graduating to a great purpose. However, this service does not seem to click with users.

This service is going to be great and survive during these hard times. From what I’ve read it has a great service with an excellent business model that businesses would gladly pay for. More start-ups should have this focus in mind and have a set business model opposed to just another idea of a social network to clog up space. Great job guys.

Business social network in my view has a lot of potential and probably have more revenue potential than the trendy current social network. I guess someone just has to figure out how to create a business network that can be fun.
