Sounds right. Just like Google is a site just slapped together with an interface and aggregating content. Anyone could have done it if they got the big boys to listen. Try Google News. It's not their content. All of Google figures are bullshit. Not.

Wake up and smell the bru. The boat of the very idea that you need to have your own content is as old on the web as Yahoo. At $12 is pretty clear how valuable that is. All of Yahoo is their own or licensed and see where they are. At a small publisher owning is good, but at mass no good. Too expensive and don't work. Cable doesn't own any content, but has been a good business ask Ted Turner.

It feels like that all the work that was done to this site was just slapping together an interface and aggregating content. That's it. Seems like any programmer/designer could have done this if they got the big boys to listen to them.

Very good rollout for the site, they definitely have a lot of quality content for a brand new men's site and access to a lot of content by getting videos from major video sites. Nevertheless as a new site they're gonna need to put in of marketing to even get up to the level of a site like Askmen.com (see Alexa) who are competing with traditional media. I hardly use Askmen.com myself, I prefer magazines for this sort of reading. Good start nonetheless Brash could become a major player but needs more ladies IMO.

Mike:

I watched one of your speeches to the tech community on youtube. You are quite handsome.

However, I do have one small critique. Your inflection is backwards, which is often typicl of West Coast people. You end your sentences with your inflection rising, rather than falling--the way most educated people do.

Anyway, try to work on your public speaking. You don't want to sound more confused than your audience.

Remember, inflection, Mike. It's everything in public speaking these days.
