The sad part is Google choose a bear over the country being practically founded.

They certainly are not required by shareholders to put up certain logos, but Google routinely shits on American events.

There is some controversy but the accomplishments by Columbus are legendary in magnitude.

Some of you that harp that he was rapist/murderer are probably Democrats who support Ted Kennedy, who killed a woman not too long ago. Yet Ted didn’t cross an ocean or have to fight Indians. Historically, some of our greatest and most celebrated individuals were imperialists.

Time Magazine can give Putin Man of the Year, but it isn’t ok to celebrate Columbus.

Google has routinely dissed the United States. The land of opportunity that allowed it to become such a force.

I guess Google chose Paddington because globally more people know about him than a strictly USA holiday.

And what did native americans invent and help do that kept their populations up? Nothing. They were so weak they couldnt even withstand viruses. The weak got weaker and the strong got stronger.

The left wing ideologies ( Socialism, Communism, Modern Liberalism, Progressivism, Fascism, Marxism) are against the individual and they insist (by force) the interest of the government over the individual – all with central control by elites.

Conservatism isn’t perfect and some Republicans have abandoned Conservative principles, but it’s a heck of a lot better than anything left wing where people suffer and want to escape it.

Our relative Conservative society/culture is why people have wanted to come here over the decades and other country’s relative Liberalism is why people try to escape those places. Fences are used to keep illegals from coming into the US; fences, etc. are used to keep citizens of left wing countries from escaping their own countries!

Read up on Fascism. The background and who supported it are quite a bit different than how the media and the left wing portrays it. The “Progressives” were enamored with Fascism in the 30’s.

Try doing some volunteer work or spending time with your family or doing something that actually matters.
